Library Survey 2023/24

Overall, 80% of Library users are satisfied or very satisfied. 11% are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. 6% are dissatisfied and 3% are very dissatisfied.

A big thanks to all students and staff who took The ‘Library Life Pulse’! The Library survey takes place every two years, and your views help us to better understand your needs and develop responsive services and supports for the future.

This resource provides survey highlights and our responses across four key themes:

  • · Space
  • · Training and Support
  • · Finding and Using Resources
  • · Customer Services and Communications

From 20 November – 10 December 2023 we received 1,048 responses. That’s about a 5% response rate and we’re satisfied that we’ve received input from cohorts across the university. This survey has given us so much valuable data & over coming months we will be teasing out some of the main themes through further user experience research including focus groups and workshops.
