Shelfmarks are assigned to books to enable you to locate them on the Library shelves once you find them in Stella Search. You will see a white shelfmark label attached to the cover of each book, and each book has a unique address.
Education books on the open shelves are located in the lower level of the Lecky library, at shelfmark 370-379. You can virtually browse bookshelves by clicking on the shelfmark number from within a catalogue record for a book.
Remember, many books are on closed access (Stacks/Storage). These are mainly titles which we receive under copyright from UK and Irish publishers. Use the Click and Collect (Storage) request button within a book record to order for collection. Full information on storage requests, borrowing entitlements and using STELLA search are available on the Welcome to the Library page. Short online tutorials are also available to view.
