Once you found information that matches the topic and requirements of your research, you should analyze or evaluate these information sources. Evaluating information encourages you to think critically about the reliability, validity, accuracy, authority, timeliness, point of view or bias of information sources.

The CRAAP test, as we have seen, can be applied to all types of information that you will encounter.
This does not only apply to academic information, you can apply the checklist to everyday results, such as the like you would get from Google, Twitter or an online news source, and even, Facebook.
All information that you encounter, at every level of study or research, should be held to the standards of rigorous and critical evaluation.
