Finding Your Books in the Library

Shelfmarks are assigned to books to enable you to locate them on the Library shelves once you find them in Stella Search. You will see a white shelfmark label attached to the cover of each book, and each book has a unique address.

Genetics Printed Book Collections, Hamilton Library

The LEN Genetics book collection is shelved on the lower level of the Hamilton Library . These books have the prefix LEN in front of their shelfmarks/ call-numbers and are the only books that undergraduates students can borrow.  See the panels on the side of the shelves for a breakdown of a subject area into various sub-categories. The Genetics books are shelved between the shelfmarks 570 to 579.

The non-Len collection is shelved on the upper level of the Hamilton Library.
